Illustrado’s Women of substance has honored 22 extraordinaryand exceptional Filipinas who poses great dedication and character that made great impact to motivate people in improving their lives.

It's my 1st year here in Dubai and lucky to attend the red carpet event of Illustrado Magazine in honoring outstanding filipinas Last April 1, 2011. It was an event that you will feel proud to be pinoy and be nationalistic on every achievement of your country where women are given importance on their contribution to the community. During that day I got to enjoy roaming around Godolphin Ballroom in Jumeirah Emirates Towers capturing some of the fabulous red carpet attendees.

The 30 entries for the Nikon Photo Competition were all amazing showcasing different personalities and different generation of Filipinas. I am so happy that many of my friends had qualified and made it to the exhibit.

Mr Ruben Mirabel, Ms Mariyah Gaspacho and Ms Tinayums Bernice Linaza from OPPPS were also present at the Women of Substance event with Mr Marlon Bautista and Ms Joyce Salcedo in a table inside Godolphin ballroom.
